About the Presenter:
Mr. Cepeda is the Educational Director for the ELIJA school. The ELIJA school is an educational and treatment environment for learners with autism located in Bethpage, NY. Mr. Cepeda has been a Clinic Supervisor for the Lovaas Institute and also behavioral consultant to many families in New York, New Jersey and Arizona. He has had over 13 years of experience supervising, consulting, training and speaking on the topics of behavioral interventions for children with autism and has an extensive background in working with learners in individual, small group and classroom settings.

Wine Tasting Classes at Blanc & Rouge Thurs. 4/26 and Thurs. 5/24 at 8pm

Dates: Thursday, 4/26 and 5/24

Class #1 - Thursday, 4/26 - "Spring Wines - A focus on the Loire Valley." Six wines from this region will be presented. Hors'doerves and notepads will be provided. The format will begin with a lecture and tasting of six wines from this amazing region and an informal discussion will follow.

Class #2 - Thursday 5/24 - "Summer Wines - The Forgotten Old World." This class will focus on well established wineries from South Africa, Portugal, and Greece. Again, we will provide hors'doerves, notepads, a more formalized lecture and tasting, and then an informal discussion to follow.

We will provide take home materials of all the information discussed in class, including maps of each of the above regions.

The Brooklyn Autism Center is in the process of applying for tax-exempt status. IRS approval of the application is anticipated in mid 2007. When BAC receives approval from the IRS, charitable deducations, minus the cost of goods, will be allowable retroactive to the date of incorporation, June 22nd, 2006.
